When Adie Baker sent a text showing the results I regretted not going but another surprise came when he informed me the top weight was made up of bream and the other 6 top weights consisted of roach!!!
Clevedon angler (and a person who loves fishing for silvers on natural venues) James Gunter was drawn on the far bank on peg 5 caught steady throughout the match on the tip for a match winning 58lb 4oz of bream.

In second place was Fry's stalwart Merv Sivell who was on peg 5 with 52lb 4oz of roach on the whip.

5th peg 15 - Paul Faires Clevedon 39lb (roach)
