Match announcement - Charity Match K & A Canal Bath 29th January.

Bob Warden charity match in aid of Lung research is on Sunday 29th January Kennent and avon Canal Bath Town sections. 8am draw at Stothert & Pitt Rugby Club Saltford Bath. £20 all in, free entry for juniors. Not been out fishing for a couple of weeks due to going away over the August Bank Holiday but has also given me time to prepare for the Arva 5 day festival starting on the 5th September. 4 trays of rigs have been tied along with just over 100 hooks. I have not match fished any of the venues but pleasure fished two of them last year. The Gowna Festival is going on at the moment and the venues next week are likely to be the same so I have been keeping a close eye on the results through Facebook as Bob Nudd and Tommy Pickering are taking part prior to the World Pairs next week. It looks like 12 kilos a day is needed to stay toward the top of the leader board.
I hope to give daily updates on Facebook and then update the blog when I return.

Within 10 hours I will be heading off to Cavan for a weeks fishing with 3 mates and I am just about ready.

Clevedon Freshwater Angling Club will be running an Open Match Monday 26th August on Paddock Lake Acorn Fishery Kingston Seymour.
Draw 09:00.
It will be a turn up & fish, no booking required £20 all in.
We intend to close the lake completely for the match, fishing will be 1015-1615 if anyone does require info they can email adrianbaker71@hotmail.com
