Just a quick summary concerning my first visit of the year to this wonderful water.
We fished the East shoreline after parking in the North Shore Car Pk.
What a day loads of big hybrids and bream after taking advice from a local angler who turned up the same time as us, thanks Steve.
Simple approach ......
Fished at 45 turns
Loads of particles in window feeders (maggot, hemp, caster and corn)
Size 14 wide gape hooks to 6lb hook lengths which were 1 metre long.
Braid used with 8lb shock leaders
Keep the bait going in every 5 to 10 minutes
Hit the clip every tip and sink the braid and be prepared for a bite on the drop
Bites are very positive.
Dan with a big hybrid
Dan had 10 big bream and some hybrids for 60lb, I had mainly hybrids and 3 big bream for around 50lbs.
What a place.
