Off to Ireland and match announcement.

Not been out fishing for a couple of weeks due to going away over the August Bank Holiday but has also given me time to prepare for the Arva 5 day festival starting on the 5th September. 4 trays of rigs have been tied along with just over 100 hooks. I have not match fished any of the venues but pleasure fished two of them last year. The Gowna Festival is going on at the moment and the venues next week are likely to be the same so I have been keeping a close eye on the results through Facebook as Bob Nudd and Tommy Pickering are taking part prior to the World Pairs next week. It looks like 12 kilos a day is needed to stay toward the top of the leader board.
I hope to give daily updates on Facebook and then update the blog when I return.

Here is a ''heads up'' on the Clevedon Freshwater Angling Clubs annual Charity Match.

The results, prize giving and BBQ will be at the Blue Flame afterwards.
